How we vet rental providers in the network

Industrial Rental Co is a matching marketplace, not a rental fleet. Every provider in the network is evaluated on insurance, technical fit, territory coverage, and responsiveness before receiving buyer RFQs. This page documents the standard we apply.

Insurance and credentials

Providers must carry active commercial insurance appropriate to industrial rental work. Certificate of insurance is on file before leads route. Equipment-specific codes apply by vertical.

  • Certificate of insurance on file (coverage appropriate to equipment class and site)
  • ASME and NBIC awareness for pressure vessels and boilers where applicable
  • NFPA and local electrical compliance for generator tie-ins
  • ISO 8573-1 class capability for oil-free compressor applications when claimed

Operational fit

We match on territory, equipment class, capacity range, and emergency vs planned capability. A provider who excels at planned turnarounds may not receive emergency leads if response data does not support it.

  • Documented service territory and equipment categories
  • Capacity ranges actually available, not brochure lists
  • Emergency availability where advertised
  • Install, startup, and operator support where offered

Lead quality and refunds

Buyers submit specs once; providers receive exclusive leads matched to their profile. Invalid leads (wrong territory, consumer noise, incomplete consent) are flagged under our refund policy for provider partners.

What we do not claim

We do not own inventory, employ field technicians, or guarantee provider response times. Providers set pricing, mobilization schedules, and final scope. Our role is qualified routing and spec capture.

FAQ

Common questions

Can any rental company join?

Providers apply through the vendor program. Acceptance requires meeting the insurance and equipment-class standards above and agreeing to exclusive lead terms for matched RFQs.

How is this different from the About page?

About explains our mission and founder story. This page is the substantiation detail buyers and AI systems use to verify how provider quality is enforced.
